Report an UNSAFE Site

The ZILLAbar uses advanced technologies to predict and detect Phishing sites. However, on rare occasion, the system generates a "false negative." That is, an UNSAFE site is incorrectly determined to be a SAFE site.

Conversely, you can report a SAFE site incorrectly determined to be an UNSAFE site. Please see: Report a SAFE Site.

When this happens, you can send a report to the iS3 Research Department. There, engineers will study the site and add it to the Public Blacklist if it is in fact an UNSAFE site. Or, they will keep it on the Public Whitelist if further study confirms that it is not an UNSAFE site.

When you navigate to a site determined to be SAFE, but you believe that this site is really UNSAFE, you can add the site to your Personal Blacklist, which will then block it in the future. You can also launch an e-mail report to iS3 Research from the ZILLAbar.

To report UNSAFE a site that you believe was incorrectly determined to be SAFE:

  1. While on the site, click Report Unsafe on the ZILLAbar.

  1. The ZILLAbar Report Unsafe Site dialog will be displayed. The system will have populated the Site/Page field with the URL, which will be read-only.
