Notes

A Note is specific type of SafeCard in which you can save text. The text is stored in encrypted format in your Digital ID™Vault.

Existing electronic documents of all kinds can be copied and pasted into Notes. Or, you can type directly into a Note. For example, in the illustration below, Joe Gwynn has copied and pasted a legal letter he received as an e-mail and pasted it into a Note for permanent, private safekeeping.

To create a Note:

 

  1. Click the Electronic Wallet section button in the ANTIfraud Main window, .

  2. From the Wallet Folders in the directory  of the navigation pane, click on any folder name. Or, right-click within the directory to create a new folder. For example, you may want to create a Legal folder to store letters like the one shown above.

  3. Click the down-arrow to the right of the word New in the toolbar. From the New menu, click New SafeCard. From the New SafeCard submenu, click Generic. From the Generic submenu, click Notes.

  1. Type or paste in the text you wish. Click OK to save your information. Or, click Cancel to discard the text entered.
