Database conflicts occur when data is added to the USB and PC databases separately and the system needs you to decide which data shall be kept. To do this, ANTIfraud provides the Mobile Synchronization dialog.
For example, you might update SafeCard data on your PC version of ANTIfraud. When you insert your USB flash drive, the system will display an alert indicating that the databases need to be synchronized.
To resolve a database conflict:
When the system displays an alert near the System Tray icon indicating that the databases need to be synchronized, go to the menu bar and click File. From the File menu, select Synchronize data... The system displays the Mobile Synchronization dialog.
This form shows a list of all conflicts between the main (PC) database and the mobile (USB) database. In the Synchronization group box, the Method drop-down list allows you to accept all data from either database, discarding the other data, or you can combine changes from both databases and resolve conflicts on a case-by case basis.
To resolve each conflict individually, click within the Action field to enable the drop-down list of options. As shown, options are Use Mobile Data, Use Main Data and Keep Both.
Keep Both indicates that you are unsure of which to keep. In this case the system saves both until you specify otherwise.
