Changing Your Master Password

The only information you will need to remember is your Master Password.

Each user has his/her own individual password, which opens only that person's records. You might want to change your password from time to time.

To change your Master Password:

  1. From the menu bar, select Tools. From the Tools submenu, select Options... In the ANTIfraud Options dialog, click the Security tab and click the Change Master Password command button.

  2. In the Change Security Options dialog, type in your current password. Or, click the Virtual Keyboard command button to enter your Master Password via the Virtual Keyboard.

  1. In the Encryption Method field, leave the default encryption, AES. This is the strongest possible encryption. For more information on AES encryption, please see: About AES Encryption

  2. Select (check) the Change Current Password box and type in your new Master Password. Retype the new password to confirm it.

As an additional security precaution, you may want to use the Virtual Keyboard feature to create, change or enter your Master Password.
